His music is as gentle, unassuming and soft spoken as he is. Michael Graham Allen was one of three featured performers at the NSU Jazz Lab during the OK Flute Festival. October 4 2k8 Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Michael is the founder, principal flutist and composer of the duo called COYOTE OLDMAN. For more than 30 years he has researched the history of his instruments, including flutes from many countries, but especially Native cultures of the western hemisphere. On their recordings you can hear flutes that Allen may have made a few days before the recording and clay ocarinas that might date back hundreds of years. • This is still as beautiful as when I first visited. Absolutely wonderful.

  • I love coming back for more. I am blessed with the Coyote Oldman Mojave and I'm waiting for his Inlay Anasazi. Magical flutes. He is amazing. I love listening to the history but I find my hearing misses some information. Did he say something about Dr. Payne's book involved with Anasazi? I couldn't tell. Anywho...wonderful

  • Wonderful. I pray to own his beautiful flutes
