Mature, strong voice, not a single twang of accent. Very defined lyrics with a pop-y backing track and harmonies that add to the sad but strong feeling the song gives off (though they remind me of Wonderwall for reasons I can't describe). I can agree that it reminds me of pop music from that era, but that's when I last listened to the radio on a regular basis.

In short; sounds professional enough for a record label.

I hope this gets more views as I know, given the opportunity, you'll go far.
