Thank You Asheville! A Journey Into The Suckiness of Asheville's Transit System.

Asheville's transit system sucks. Here's a little something that happened to me this morning.
I thought this would work out and I could catch a later bus. It should have worked out, but I spent another half hour waiting in the snow for the 9am bus as well, and that never came either.

Who in their right mind would check the city bus website for delays.WLOS or AC-T for school delays.

- Despite what it appears in Outdoor Magazine, is very poor and rural -the resources or money to reach out to every college student with an agenda of becoming a YouTube avenger.

- "Proper Funding" 7.5 million has just been cut from the city's budget, you want a sidewalk.

- Take it to the Drum Circle

Because I don't own a television or a radio. The internet is the only way I get information like that.

I don't understand that first bullet about Outdoor Magazine. All of my other videos are stupid clips of my pet birds. I have no agenda.

I'm aware of the budget cuts. It's a shame. Hopefully it won't mean that a lot of people will suffer because of it.

Such is life in this town; I feel fortunate that I have yet to wait for a bus that has never arrived. I posted this on my site with the responses from some members of local government to an email I had sent regarding the lack of sidewalks much less shelters and increased frequency.

Asheville is a weak ass town, we moved here 2 years ago and taking the bus makes you smell like cigarettes from all the local southern trash smokers. Quit smoking and get a bicycle.

The biggest employment here is the hospital for all the weak and sick people. I am so out of here. Rude and prejudice people.

Guess what? My wife's just gotten a job interview as a teacher out in Swannanowhere near WWC. ATS unbelievably sucks so much that she'll have to walk 3 miles from her drop off point. The master plan for ATS (ashevilletransitsucks) sucks a friggin well!

That is pretty sucky. :P

I don't think anything tops the Los Angeles Metro though. Don't even think about trying to catch a bus off peak times without waiting for at least an hour. Once I had to wait three hours for a bus and it was around 96 degrees outside. Not so fun.
