How to play Cavatina as John Williams played it solo.

@Nulanula Yeah, a couple of duff notes but those slide noise were due to the ultra sensitive mic I was using taped to the body of the guitar...However, you must remember that this is a lesson, not a performance...and it is how John Williams played...Students can take the full version of this lesson and practice on a performance that far outshines mine...By the way, no-one gives a fuck what you think.

@Nulanula Ok, so let's see your video lesson showing us all how it's done........

This is unbelievable. Your video goes for ten minutes and you only manage to show us two friggin chords. You spend two and a half minutes discussing the first chord, ans you spend four minutes discussing the second chord, then you go over them both. Where is the rest of the song, and is there a faster version?

I think it's great - well done - will be watching again and again to learn how to play it :)

I practice this piece myself, and I think I play it about as well (or badly) as you do. I think if I were going to record myself on video, I would be able to pull it off better than you did. Why am I being such a prick (just being honest)? Because your response to criticism, and use of profanity thereof, totally clashes with the spirit of the classical guitar. Anybody can purchase the music, so you are not doing anybody a service by teaching them your bad habits and technique. Keep practicing.

....like John Williams plays it? .......are you kidding. Perhaps you should LISTEN to John Williams first. Sorry - very poor throughout.

@philipwesley4 It's the correct fingering. That's what I meant. It's a good lesson. Literally hundreds of people have confirmed that. I know I don't play like John Williams...The snobby guitar wanker contingent is so much higher in the classical genre...So easy to criticise..Much harder to do...Let's see your version. By the way, I don't give a fuck about your irrelevant opinion.
