@PropheticallyPoetic You made a really good version of this song, thanks for keeping real country music alive. The Judds are authentic country music. Garth Brooks and the "hat acts" destroyed country music in the early 90s with their goat voices and their "modern country," which is really just bad rock n roll. Modern country is nothing more than sensitive 80s hair metal power ballads, sanitized top 40 karaoke pop music and recycled bonehead southern rock songs.

What fret is that capo on? The 2nd? You have a voice a like george strait in some parts, really nice. Only advice is when you sing, let yourself just feel it and let the emotion of the song come through you. You sound really great when the notes are moving through a progression but when they hold for a second it loses the feeling. Think of old hank williams sr. when he sang. Overall really well done from the perspective of a fellow singer/musician.
