Comments and ratings are much appreciated! ^_^

This is my pack and I on our morning walk. We did 1 1/2 hours this time instead of our normal 1 hour. As of this video, we haven't been walking long. This is the 5th day since I started pack walks. So they still need reminders, but they're doing really well. Nighque (the black lab mix, blue backpack) is off leash in this video. The picture shows a leash on her but I took it off shortly after starting the walk.

  • Which one is the alpha male?

  • @TurtleKrazy Me. lol Well, alpha female. xD Haha, well between the 4 I have now (the pit mix, lab, and husky in this vid and also a pure pittie), I'd have to say Steele is in charge mainly. Not in a domineering way, he's pretty chilled and laid back but won't put up with anything from the others and will growl/raise lip to correct if he has to. Really whooped the shit outta the pittie too when the pit started some crap. (cont)

  • @TurtleKrazy But then again, I don't really believe in a "true" main alpha in a dog pack, there's just a lot more to it than that. Or maybe there is an alpha in a dog pack who isn't controlled by the owner. Since I show them I am the leader, no one in particular really stands out as being an "alpha". Steele, my husky is my best guess (the closest to being "in charge", next to me) if I HAD to choose just out of fun. But neither of my dogs are the true alpha of the pack.

  • Outstanding, Laura. You show what a pack/group leader is about. For others, Laura demonstrates well what Cesar calls the "primal walk" - no gabbing, no blabbing, just walking. Heads up and walking with a purpose. This is a WALK - not a sniff, not a wander, not chasing butterflies! Good girl, Laura. Sit. Here's a treat! Woof!

  • @doctordoolittle2800 That was a lovely compliment! Thank you very much, I appreciate the kind words. ^_^

  • @cyrex94 Just for the record, I never deleted Cyrex's comment just because it's so ridiculous, it had me roflmao. xD So thanks for bringing me a good laugh, Cyrex. lmao!

  • Awwww so cute and excelent walk :D

  • I am a huge fan of the pack walk! Your dogs look so relaxed in this video, they definatly have a good leader! I'm also a fan of backpacks for larger dogs who really need that little extra. Great dogs, keep up the good work!

  • Wish to see the dogpack but can't.
