Hahahahahahahahahahaaaa!!! Why were you just holding the key?! Do you drive that bus? It's bad for the engine if you kept holding the key, but this is soooo funny!

Grinding up the starter.

And u wonder why it won't start. Maybe cuz u need a new starter and battery

Change the title to "How to destroy a starter and melt down your battery cables".
-
What the hell was that
-
What's he trying to do, use the starter motor as an auxiliary generator??

@0GravyGrav0 How many 8.2L engines have you worked with? This is one of those engines that may sound like it is running, but if you let off the starter, it will stall right out. Also, did you bother to read the description at all? This bus was junked due to many problems. This is why I didn't care about the starter, it was going to the junk yard and I wasn't going to bother waiting 2 minutes for every 10 seconds of cranking. It would have taken forever.

Propane buses sounds wayy better than the deisels and they start up right away in the cold but not as easy to start when their hot

@impala3607 Yeah, some of the buses around here are CNG and they sound awesome.

umm why dont you try pumping the gas while your starting it.... instead of killing the damn starter.

@stu2zoo31 There is a good reason for this, there was a crack in the fuel line. Pressing my foot on the pedal didn't help it start at all. Now with my new bus that is a different story.
