  • The translation is very bad. Satti Suttadhada does not mean 'Mud pan hurt me' ..It actually means, 'the pot is baked and hence the clay does not stick to the hand'. Its meaning is The mind has become matured and hence does not attach to worldly and material things.

  • Looks like Kannadasan had gone through many difficult situations, faced several hardships in his life. Otherwise, it would be impossible to write lyrics that are so powerful and filled with profound meaning. Such lyrics cannot be, in my opinion, written with just imagination or creativity. They should have come from his life experiences.
