Irene hit Milford CT on August 28 2011. The eye came over us at 4am-- Mikes said it was freakishly calm. High Tide was at 10:54am by 2pm things were getting calmer already. Area of East Broadway and Shell Street sustained greater flood damage. East Broadway is cover by a food of sand all streets running perpendicular into the swamp were still flooded at 8pm.. Fallen trees are responsible for power outage through the city. But Fort Trumbull had little damage. Enjoy the movie. CGB
