Harriett McFeely of Hastings NE talks about high levels of formaldehyde in her modular home that led to the deaths of four of her dogs, and illnesses in herself and her family that included watery eyes, vision problems, headaches, fatigues, short-term memory problems and diarrhea. Harriett has since found out that a lot of other people in her area with modular homes or mobile homes have also lost pets and been sick themselves with the same symptoms of the McFeelys. Testing by Sierra Club subsequently found high levels of formaldehyde in the homes. More info: www.toxictrailers.com or call Harriett at 402-705-0000.

  • Good job. Thanks for this video.

  • By the way... Did you know that the comp., camcorder, and EVERY other electronic device this lady has gives off "toxic" fumes/residue!

    HYPOCRITES!

  • The materials used in modular homes are the same used in many other homes, and yet this video is suppose to make ppl stop and question which building practice to use?

Yes, eating paint chips of any type is not good for you. Yes, breathing smoke from ANY burning home is not good for you. Yes, sniffing the glue used to build the home is not good for you. GET A VENTILATION SYSTEM MORON!

  • Important question to ask, what's the source of the formaldehyde fumes ? :

... the glue that is used in the manufacture of plywood and particle board used in kitchen cabinets, flooring, under-roof etc. Do you have it in YOUR home ?
