When the Bough Breaks

This slide show was one of the final projects put together for my Beginning Digital Photography class for the fall '09 semester at Solano Community College. All the journal entries quoted in the show were written and posted by my friend Crystal on http://fragments.louielovescrystal.com/

I was really moved by what she had written that year. When my teacher assigned us to create a slide show that should carry an emotional impact for the audience, I couldn't think of a better story to tell. I was given permission to use Crystal's journal entries and to photograph her and Louie.

The assignment called for a 2-5 min presentation that was shown to the entire class at the end of the semester. I only wish I could have showed them a longer version of Crystal & Louie's story because summing it up in 5 minutes doesn't even begin to do them justice.

This is my first slideshow, created through iMovie v7.1.4 on my MacBook Pro. Many thanks again to Crystal & Louie for letting me do this.
