  • i'm really going to miss these guys. they officially broke up today.

  • Incredible song--and thank you for uploading this video. Much better a/v quality than the other upload I found.

  • you're welcome - that's why i chose to upload it - wanted a better quality version than the 'official' upload - fyi though teamgatto (the guy who uploaded the lower quality version) is the frontman of the band so i recommend subscribing to him as well. (:

thanks for watching. these guys have been a favorite band of mine for years and one of the reasons i can say i'm still alive.

  • @turboskanker his new act Continues is very good. But it's still not the same.

  • Awesome, BABYLAND rules.

  • No way... Damn, damn, damn, damn... I didn't know about this.

  • Also, it's great the band's music has helped keep you alive. I find a certain emotional connection to a lot of the music and lyrics, particularly "Omaha", "Gehry", and "Sophomore". The first two seem to deal with uniqueness and standing up for oneself and their beliefs, despite criticism from "the outside world." (I get ragged on a ton for liking synth pop and industrial.) And with "Sophomore", it's mostly a musical/mood connection, but the lyrics also touch me in a tender spot as well.

  • Yeah, I figured it was Dan Gatto's account judging by the username.

I only just recently got into Babyland, like a few months ago. Quickly became one of my absolute favorites--wonderful industrial-type music with synth pop tendencies (ESPECIALLY this song, which is really synth poppy). Bought all the available albums from Metropolis Recs, then searched other places for the rest of 'em. Bought new whenever I could; '2002' and 'The Finger' sadly were from Amazon third parties.

  • i love babyland
