The tragedy of the whole situation was that the governments of both nations sent their young men to the malvinas/falklands to be killed for their own petty nationalist political gain. The fascist generals in Argentina tried to save their regime by starting a war that they had no hope of winning. Thatcher and her fellow Tories decided to crack the walnut with a sledgehammer in order to win an election they were probably going to lose. Both regimes threw the men on the scrapheap after the end.

@milcarb86 no se de que pais seas pero si sos mexicano te digo que usando tu criterio el sur de lo que es hoy USA jamas fue y nunca sera de mexico las malvinas eran parte de nuestro territorio e inglaterra nos lo robo al igual que estados unidos lo hizo con el norte de tu pais y ustedes tambien tubieron una guerra y la perdieron asi que no digas idioteces y tene mas respeto por los casi 700 jovenes que perdieron la vida por la patria cosa que creo que vos no harias.

@aventat999 Well what matters is the leadership, countries like Singapore with very little resources and land wield great economic power. However large countries like Venezuela rich with resources, whose economic power is nothing special.
