@werenotlosers yes I agree my finger hurt after opening the box. I would highly suggest that if your giving this as a gift that you play with it and possibly sand some of the edges first, not enough to let it just fall open but enough that they don't bruise their thumbs or get splinters from the rough finished drawers.
