FELONY FLATS is a chunk of seedy landscape in southeast Portland and the title of Bob Moricz's latest motion picture. Raised to be a complete idiot creep, Moricz turns the camera upon himself donning a frightwig and horrific dental appliance to assume the identity of a mentally ill man just barely getting by on his own in a nightmarish whirlpool of a world spinning into infinity. Shot completely on location in outer southeast Portland and informed by the director's experiences at a mental health crisis clinic, FELONY FLATS is a humanely heartbreaking, horrifying, and ultimately funny slice of the life of a lost man wanted and loved by nobody.
