UPDATED 5/8/09: Rokk Krinn (Cosmic Boy from the Legion) travels back from the future at the beginning of the episode to meet with Clark. He tells Clark that he hopes he is not too late, also admitting that every time the Legion travels through time, they take the chance of disrupting fate.
- While Brainiac was defeated in the Legion's previous visit, there's someone else who no longer exists... Clark is gone too. "When you saved Chloe's life, you saved her connection to Doomsday," Rokk warns. "She stopped you from sending him to the Phantom Zone; she made him invulnerable by trying to kill him with kryptonite. And now, because of Chloe, you cannot defeat him."
- Clark tells Rokk that he'd never take back his choice to save Chloe.
- Rokk gives Clark a new Legion ring and tells him to use it to send Doomsday to the future, where the Legion is ready and prepared to fight him.
- Clark tells Rokk that his father always told him that he was sent to Earth to save mankind. "Maybe this is my true destiny," he says.
- Rokk warns Clark that "tomorrow is the day you die."

UPDATED 5/6/09: From the episode's promo, it appears that Chloe and Oliver do survive, at least long enough to make it to a funeral.
- It also looks like Black Kryptonite might split Doomsday and Davis, and that a female (Chloe? Tess?) will be the one to make the split happen.
- Lois will find a Legion of Super-Heroes ring.
- Someone will learn the truth about Clark being the Red-Blue Blur.

UPDATED 4/28/09: Executive Producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders have confirmed for E! Online that Tom Welling and Erica Durance are signed on for Season 9, so that must mean that neither Clark nor Lois will be dying. Combine that with Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello's hint that implied "the person dying is not Chloe," and that should narrow the suspected dead to four other characters - Tess, Jimmy, Oliver, and Davis - unless one or both of the deaths happen to be guest stars.

The CW's Official Description (Posted 4/24/09): CLARK AND DOOMSDAY FACE OFF — Oliver (Justin Hartley) tells Clark (Tom Welling) he must kill Davis (Sam Witwer), as Doomsday is a serious threat and must be stopped at all costs. However, Clark struggles with taking a human life, so the Green Arrow and his team decide to take matters into their own hands. Lois (Erica Durance) takes on Tess (Cassidy Freeman), but the fight takes a shocking turn. Meanwhile, Chloe (Allison Mack) gets caught in the middle of Oliver and Clarks battle over killing Davis. Aaron Ashmore also stars. Posted on KryptonSite. James Marshall directed the episode written by Brian Peterson & Kelly Souders .
