@agarc023 Can't 5krpm launch an automatic transmission. You can really only "brake boost" or "torque brake" whatever they call it now.

If you're revving in neutral in an auto, and dropping it into drive or gear 1... You're only doing that a couple of times before you're replacing broken gears.

Auto's are better for drag races. Consistent, quick (faster than anyone can do a manual) shifts and no loss of boost in between shifts

Listen the DSM beat the 80k Nissan and had a auto tranny think this if you can. If that had been a manual transmission, where would that big buck Nissan Skyline be? hmm mabe in the rear veiw mirror reading objects in mirror are closer than they appear as a spec.

@TheKEYTHAO A gsx stock, would never beat a r35. But thats stock, dump a few grand in there and if it hooks up right im sure itd stand a chance. Got to remember, awd > fwd or rwd in traction.

@DsmCOLORADOKING true but launching hard in a gsx destroys the drivetrain. I've had a problem with that for a while and several thouands of dollars later i gave up on dsm's. If they arent racing for a lot of money it isnt worth it.
