I've been planning to show this desk for a few years now, as it's one of my all-time favorite products at Relax the Back Store. Hopefully you can tell its superior form and function, but I'd like to particularly mention the quality of the wood. It is absolutely phenomenal: the way it feels as well as how solid it is. (Base supports up to 250 lbs.)

Shown here is the Maple finish, but there's also a Cherry and Espresso option. Comes in three sizes as well, this being the small one. Small (47"W x 36"D), Medium (63"W x 39"D), Large (75"W x 40"D).

Made in Denmark by a company called Jesper. Also known as a Sit-Stand or Stand Up desk, the Jesper height-adjustable desk features a motorized desktop that silently transitions from seated to standing positions with a press of a button. Sit Stand desks are recommended by many health care professionals to help increase energy, alleviate back pain, ease joint stiffness and solve other work related discomforts. Sitting for hours on end can be stressful on the spine, as well as lead to feelings of lethargy and fatigue. Many people also report greater core strength after trying one of these.

But besides comfort, the Stand Up Desk is convenient. It adjusts smoothly on the brushed steel base, going quickly and quietly from a low of 25" to a high of 52", allowing you great flexibility in your work habits. At the push of a button, it converts from a regular sit-down desk to one that lets you to stand tall.

  • @maruyama87 normally you don't, but you should! we should change sitting positions as much as possible. so with this desk you can sit for a while, then stand, than back to sitting, etc. during one day.
