y in the world did they destroy it they could have easily beaten the sith in SWTOR if they had the ships from the star forge

A: It corrupts everyone inside it, it even corrupted it's own creators.

B: The thing is the size of a small moon, full of soldiers, sith, and droids. And it can materialise new droids to replenish loses. Just try to take that over.

@theitalianscotdan Its mostly a matter of aesthetics and economy. See, the Republic really likes all of their stuff painted with red accents. it would cost them billions of credits in supplies and man-power hours to paint that thing red.

Thus, it was just easier to destroy it, rather than repaint it.

@LordDarthHarry not to mention that at this point revan didnt have any memories about the true sith empire and therefore neither would any other jedi or memeber of the republic. reven was the only one other than malak who knew about them.

@LordDarthHarry They could have just taken the debris from the old one and use it to build a new one. One that wasn't powered by the Dark Side.

The dark side ending should have been that but then it goes onto the star forge command bridge and show your charecteor putting revans/her mask back on.

@Hunock yeah besides the lasers did get more powerful with time, as well ships, armous...

just the format thats the same

@Unholyinvoker sorry but if the republic really wanted somthing and the jedi said no then then the republic would win simply because of mass soldiers and superior space units

@theitalianscotdan Even if the republic had captured the Star Forge, the Jedi would destroy it anyway, due to the "dark side corruption".
