Your position is equally racist and wrong. The fact that white people have traditionally caused harm to Africa doesn't provide justification for calling white people "white monkeys" or seeing white people as a whole as evil. This whole thing has more to do with nationalism and ideology; race itself is really quite irrelevant.

interesting see all the colonialist assholes who say Angola would be off if Europeans were permitted to carry on with Slave Labour , robbing pillaging African resources.
after all these years they've learned nothing -even from all the sabotage and war they wrought Intentionally to make it impossible for Black Angolans to succeed

Africa has always been at war, actually the world has always been, why is it always such a racial thing. If you step on my toes I will break yours. Such is life so get over yourself and go enjoy whats out there that excites you and don't keep judging others

Cuba's role in Angola set in train a series of developments that resulted in the liberation of Namibia and the end of apartheid. You might call it "meddling", the liberated people will take another view.

So you are saying that post colonial Africa didn't have democracies at all? Bullshit! Many African Countries post colonial governments sought to emulate western Democracies or in some cases taking a more leftist approach in adopting Socialism and Communism. Lumumba was democratically elected by the people with the Belgians observing the elections and was summarily deposed and assassinated. The Cold war is full stories of the West overthrowing democractically elected leaders all over the World.

Of course the Europeans were in no hurry to help Africa in any way. They just replaced the native tribal leaders and kings, and continued and increased the exploitation of the African people. The slave trade is a good example of that process. After the Europeans had left, Africans just took over existing institutions and continued on the same path as the Europeans.

Africa never had anything even remotely close to democracy in all its history. Even before the Europeans arrived to fuck things up even more there were only absolutist rulers in the few places that managed to centralize government. In fact, that is a major reason why the Europeans were able to colonize Africa with such relative ease. The Absolutist rule and even more so the lack of any centralization prevented Africa from developing any kind of state and technology to resist the Europeans.

I have to agree partly with that. What you said is true. But I don't think it is simply a lack of education. I believe many Africans know very well why they are in the situation they are in. It is just they they have no means of power. Neither politically, nor economically. Like I said, it was the black death that allowed (western)Europe to finally(eventually) defeat serfdom. Because labour became valuable and that meant peasants had a weapon to beat the nobility with.

Equating Castro and Che Guavera to Western Imperialism is one the worst case of a false dichotomy fallacy that I've seen. Che and Castro were certainly no angels but the western powers have been the biggest hypocrites and the biggest enemy to freedom and democracy.

How is it Hypocritical? They were anti-Imperialists. Fidel Castro was the Byproduct of American Imperialism that dates back to the Spanish/American War and the Final insult of installing and supporting the Despotic Batista regime. Castro clearly empathized with the Colonial struggles in Africa and sought to help them. If you sought to understand their POV then you would know that they were fighting an Empire that Dominated them for more than 60 years.

Nonsense. Most if not all African Leader were and (many still) were/are installed by western powers. It's called Neo-Colonialism. The US/UK/France in many cases overthrew democratically elected leaders and installed right-wing dictatorships. Patrice Lumumba was a perfect example of this.

Agreed. I also think of the biggest enemies of African nations is from within. Lunatic leaders are the downfall of pretty much all 3rd world countries. After generations of one terrible leader after another, a lack of education among youth, disease and hunger, it's very hard to rise above such problems.
