Istanbul bombing in Taksim Sq

In Istanbul, a suicide bomber targets police in a crowded pedestrian center on the morning of October 31, 2010. According to Turkish media and reports from the London Telegraph, 17 police officers and 15 civilians are wounded in the bombing, carried out by 24 year-old Vedat Acar. The Firat News Agency connects Acar to the Kurdish Freedom Falcons, a rebel group based in northern Iraq.
