Please bear with me, I'm learning. I've got a question. I know you have to have two network cards. What address do you assign them in order for this to work to share the internet connection?

@chrisssrock This depends on what you mean by "sharing the connection" in DHCP you do not share the connection at all. The purpose of DHCP is to lease IP address into the network so that the computer can get a IP address from the DHCP server. The NEtwork cards i have were there for another tutorial called VPN but thats not the subject but you can still use 1 network card while using DHCP. in other words you don't need 2 NIC's for a DHCP server
