CNN interviewed U.S. Congressman John Boccieri (OH-16) about his views on the current health care legislation. Boccieri looked at the bill from a number of different perspectives; both his likes and dislikes; and ultimately his goal of making the best decision for his district, state, and country.

  • @mckzckTV 1) What are you specifically referring to about Hugo Chávez? I assume youre talking about when he wanted to extend presidential terms but it was rejected only to be passed last year.

    2) When you say the evolution of administrations are you trying to bring slippery slope fallacy into this debate?

  • @lilsorms202

I can tell you didn't study about dictatorships that much. Typical American. I can't fault you though, your just ignorant of any such thing. Study more about the evolution of administrations under dictators and then we'll talk. A good place to start is with the troubles of Hugo Chavez in the year 2007.

  • How many dictators have trouble getting cloture? This is the same legislative process that gave tax cuts to the rich under the Bush Administration, where the senate reconciliation bill got 50 votes and needed VP Dick Cheney to break the tie.

  • You are a joke, Congressman!

I am ashamed of you. I do not have healthcare and don't want it. I don't want to pay for the rest of America to take advantage of the government and other honest citizens and take more handouts.

I can't say how disappointed I am in You, John Boccieri. You want to be a lackey and tag along with these failures, pathetic is right. You failed us already with the second stimulus, this is number two.

I don't want more of theis government involved in my life!

  • Boccieri, you are pathetic scum!

  • @se77en11 the wrong side is the obama side, the right side is the american people so a vote yes is a vote for a dictatorship. if you want someone to tell you what to do in your life then move to china or cuba

  • We all have a right to own a home and property with the mortgage "paid fuh" by da gubment. Dass goan be nex.

    Where mines??

  • The "White House" commissary is all out of jello. The administration commandeered it all to fill up the spines of guys like this who bent over for Pelosi and Obama. But I understand, I'm sure Pelosi and BO told him he will look good edging the White House lawns the rest of his career. Boccieri, why didn't you say these words 3 days ago? I see a string coming out of the back of your neck.

  • I realize that you are in a tough spot and want to do what you believe is right. However, for those of us that have lost our jobs and can no longer pay our mortgages/rents and are now living on the streets, your sob stories fall on deaf ears. What you have told us all is that it's not okay for Americans to loose their homes if they don't have health care but it's okay to loose our homes because we don't have jobs. Thanks pal.

  • Don't be on the wrong side of the Constitution of the United States Congressman Boccieri, vote "No" on "deem and pass" and government run health care.
