C.O.P. stands for the "Corporation of the President". So, if it is Monson's Office of President that is incorporated, then it is a "corporation of one person", only.

You can easily see, that way, that he--alone--has full control of all of the wealth of the so-called church: because it is not "the church" that is incorporated, but his own "office".

(I think the answer lies in the fact that Monson is paid some 45,000 USD (or, more) every year that he still sits on the "Board of Directors", of that company.)

(And, it is a known fact--which can be researched, to ascertain the truthfulness of it--that Monson sits on some 5 or 6 such "Boards" of "Directors": thereby, "earning" well over a 1/4 of a million dollars, that way, in addition to his meager allowance, from C.O.P.)
