During the 2001's BBC Power Cut, BBC TWO close it schedule. Pages from Ceefax were exhibited, but with the clock stoped. Source; www.thetvroomplus.com

  • Here's the explanation: the BBC had experienced a major power failure the previous evening and so a teletext data generator had been turned off automatically at that point so what happened next was that another teletext generator was in use to facilitate the broadcasts.

  • You can also hear her trying not to laugh at the end there can't you? Either that or it's happy relief at being able to conceal it.

  • Why did they remove the clock? or not make it move? To save energy resouces?
