I legitimately don't see how random is considered to be cheap as it is a legitimate mod and in some cases make for a harder notechart. Furthermore, all top tier Japanese players use random for practice as shown on Top Ranker. Prior to this video I already full combo AAA'd the song on my home setup without random.
