In case you're wondering, I recorded the audio on my Korg D888 8-track digital recorder, so I could sing harmony with myself. I was inspired to learn this song after listening to Hayley Westenra.

The person who seemed unkind and accused you of not being Maori and stealing their song must have been having a bad day (or not be a Maori) I do not believe that the true Maori heart and spirit could ever be so unkind in response to your beautiful rendition of their lovely song. The Maoris appear to me as being very warm people of great heart. I know nothing about the Maoris but I love them thrugh their music.  Thanks for your lovely version

I have watched this a clip so often. And I am a musician. But, Old Bill,  musicians need a personality. I think many people sing the song better. Buy no one sings the song with Your Heart. I salute You Old Bill
