Not a bad version, considering...but for the gold standard, check out 2nd generation--a group from West Virginia that nails this one!

Sorry Folks , I quite like Bluegrass Music , just listened to the Tom T Hall version ( wrong words too ! ) , maybe it is intoned to your ears , but to the Manfred Mann version( check spotify ) You need 4 Voices , and the stress on the Words and Gaps between words needs to follow the original Manfreds stressing and slow down a touch , the song then gets the better heartache of a man let down by a woman. The Manfreds Version will work with Mandolin / Violin and Banjo , give it a try.

I enjoyed this.
errrr no, the bass player never got it. You don't need a guitar. Someone should have been yelling out the chords. As simple of a song as it gets. Sorry to rag, but when I type in Fox on the run Tom T Hall and I get this, I get urked. You should have learned the song then posted it.

We posted a new version. And yes, the bass player was a bit off but we think it's right now. I'm sure you'll let us know. Thanks for commenting.
