The Hunger Games Movie Update: Who should play "Katniss"?

For those of you thinking that Katniss has already been cast for the Hunger Games - you're wrong. We've got scoop from the Director in just a few seconds.

You're back at ClevverTV. Hey guys. I'm Joslyn Davis with a news update on what we're thinking is likely going to be the next big film franchise to hit the movie circuit - and it's set to kick off with Suzanne Collin's wildly successful book "Hunger Games." Fans and media insiders have long been speculating about who will play the iconic role of Katniss - would it be Chloe Moretz, Dakota Fanninng or even someone like Saoirse Ronan?

Well guys, Entertainment Weekly chatted it up with the films official director, Gary Ross, who reveals that he's "read in the press that there are frontrunners but that's NOT the case." He says that he knows who Katniss needs to be, but in the end they'll "cast the right person for the part." Ross goes on to say that the studio behind the film, Lionsgate, "has been great in the respect that they don't feel that this needs a movie star in Katniss' role. The greatest thing about the franchise and the books being the star is that we can cast whoever we want."

So we here at ClevverTV want your help. when I saw the cast for the first time I thought 'o no, they aren't what I expected at all' but after seeing the trailer I was so glad they took them because I think every actor is perfect for his character... couldn't be any better cast.
