Daniel Martinez, cellist with the Mississippi Symphony offers a tribute from the shores of the Gulf of Mexico on Dauphine Island Alabama in memory our beautiful Gulf of Mexico, all who live in it, on it and around it and the 11 men who lost there lives on the rig. Please share this prayer with others as it appears - as politicians, business types, lawyers and journalists want only to argue only about blame - we will need divine intervention.

@Yourdeadmeat69 - thanks for you thoughfulness. We live in Pensacola, Florida and have walked the beach with shovels and bags and picked up what we could find. You've jumped to a conclusion... assumed something to be so that isn't... typically those who do this are the types who behave this way themselves (assuming since THEY wouldn't grab a shovel and head to the beach, odds are the other guy wouldn't either). We need oil for everything, from computers to plastic. A mistake has occurred and now everyone's doing the best they can. This is a good idea to pray to the Creator to guide our technicians on the best possible way out of this massive spill. Wildlife is smart. Most of it will migrate. In India during the tsunami all the animals got out of the beach areas before it struck. . Killing the well will take some months because it's very deep and the pressure is less at the bottom end of the well.

The guy responsible for killing the well, has 100% success in killing wells.40 oil-spilling wells have been killed by him so far. I'm sure he would not take the risk with all the money he's earned if he was not sure of what he is doing. The methane is being burnt off and the sea will not catch fire. Water and fire don't mix. The xtra abiotic should seep back into the fissures in the earth's crush.

Oil like fluid in our knees is probably required to keep smooth movement of tectonic plates.

My niece's husband told me everytime he leaves home to get back to his job on the rigs, he looks at his family closely like he's looking at them for the last time. Rigs blow up and men lose their lives more often than we realize. There 's nowhere to escape as they are surrounded by water and the blow-up occurs instantly. For all the doomsday protagonists, the guys on the BP rigs have to be respected for taking the risk to solve the problem. BBC has a great video on how they plan to stop the leak
