I'm glad to see that The Phat Critic is not dead! I forgot about UFC93 to be honest. My friend, who usually buys UFC PPVs, says he didn't even bother buying it. He downloaded it. He said the only fight he liked was Horn vs Palhares. I guess Horn is more focused on teaching than training. I watched Coleman vs. Shogun, I agree with what Joe said in that "This is hard to watch." And from what my friend says Franklin's will to fight was beaten out of him by Silva. No fire left in him.

Compared to the last two UFC events, UFC 93 WAS pretty dull but events in the UK (Ireland especially) tend to be fairly lacklustre. Aside from Rampage vs Hendo, we don't get title fights and aside from Bisping, we usually only get to see average fighters or once great fighters in the twilight of their careers and apparently great fighters coming in from other organisations and subsequently losing in the UFC. If you want great fights, you gotta go to Vegas.

The slightly drunk angry upset phat critic...interesting. i was at the event and thed preliminary fights were really good. Maybe it was the drink that made the on air fights good too or possibly jus the excitment of being at an actual ufc event for once but it still kicked ass. still tho i know what you mean about expecting more from some of the fighters. But still impressed with the davis lytle fight...they worked thier balls off
