I have a pet prairie dog as well and its funny how people speak before they actually know any facts. Very cute video , having pet prairie dogs is awesome. They are probably much happier to be in a loving home than hunted for being pests out west. Its horrible what people do to them because they are considered a "nuisance". They are some of the smartest, most personable animals in the world. We love our "Alan" and he runs around our home al the time with our dog and is part of our family! : )

@mslegacy01 anyone who knows Prairie dogs would tell you that they are just playing. On top of that both Prairie dogs are females but way to be another perfect example of how ignorant people are these days :)

@bursegsardaukar not really... every once in a while they would try to chew on the carpet but I would just clap and or make a loud noise to scare them and they would stop lol
