people can say anything about us fighting overthere, but ether way there are public assassinations every day in the middel east so why does it matter if we kill a few just to try to make it better for the rest of them

While I have utmost respect for soldiers fighting overseas, I don't understand what's wrong with being against what is happening, or having any opinion you want over the matter. There's nothing good about people shooting lead through other people with their guns. The US isn't under attack, I see no reason for the country to be at war, no one forces anyone to join the military, people put that upon themselves.

The date on my calendar says Dec 7, 2009. Its been 68 years since Isolationism was disproved on Dec 7,1941. Even the most backward country in the world can buy or develop missle technology that can reach us. A missle launched from Middle East will impact the USA in 30 minutes. Nothing can stop it. Now.. you can either WAIT till that happens...and lose 20 million Americans so that you can feel virtous..or you can stop it before it happens. Which means foreign wars.

Has it ever crossed your mind that the U.S. is not under attack precisely BECAUSE we are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan?
