I met Townes Van Zandt at the Edmonton Folk Fest many years ago. We talked for about 30 minutes, he was so friendly as we walked side by side to the kitchen for lunch. Steve Earl did a tribute to Townes this year at the festival and it was very touching. RIP Lefty
