  • What size diameter of tubes did you use and how did you fit them on the inlets?

Did you just pull the see through tube over the inlet?

  • @thrombox,

The inner diamater is somthing 4mm as far as I remember.

You have to purchase an OEM Honda "threaded sleeve" what you can drive into the carb's vacuum hole.

Or (as I did) you manufacture this by a local turner.

Here is a how-to about this method, hope this helps! ;)

    Cheers

  • szupper tudomámy,én is próbáltam az én Honda CB-1 en,de állandoan berántja a vizet!:( meglehet tól elvanak álitva a karburátotjaim?v.inkáb vegyek CarbTune gépet és azzal a higanyal könyebb lehet?

  • Hali!

    Széles utat!

  • did you know this can be done with vacuum gauges and and multi gang valve from a fish tank, you know the valves that give air to the fish, use this to throttle the vacuum daown to give you a smooth needle works great!!

  • okay, maybe safest solution like using water! :) But no problem this water manometer at all... Thx!

  • ok i bought a carb synchronizer and i cant figure out where to hook it up at someone pls help me i have a 99 suzuki gs 500 e

  • @amagakeresztje Thanks very helpful.

Instead of a threaded sleeve can I not just put the tube over the inlet, if I bought lets say a 3mm ID tube?

...and how about using 4-stroke oil instead of water or 2 stroke oil in the manometer? Probably not a good idea?

This is to stop the vibration you see, get more of an accurate set.

  • I suggest using 2-Stroke oil....if you suck it into the engine it will just smoke! Plus it's more viscous and gives a better reading!!!

    Cause ya can't compress water!

  • köszi!
