Thanks for the tutorial.. all the other tutorials I have watched leave me with like 6+ video files. I think I need Nero in order to make it an ISO though. it tells me I do.. I have magic disc and daemon tools lite, not sure why I need Nero as well but whatever.

Hi i'm trying to put my DVDs on my computer so i can convert them using a converter afterwards but everytime i use this even when i only click on the main title and use the reAuthor thing it seperates the movie in to different parts how can i get it to just save as one file?

what happens if the original file is already in my computer? i have an AVI file in my HD already and want to back it up. how do i open it?

If it's an avi file, you can't use DVD shrink ... it only copies standard DVD format. You can use a standard CD/DVD burner like Nero to burn a copy to a disc.
