  • I'm proud to say that I didn't spend a dime on Black Friday. We definitely spend money in the wrong places. Like I was telling my daughter, Black people are proud to say they have every pair of Jordans....but don't have a savings account. Something is wrong here. Excellent video.

  • I am so glad you guys are talking critically about the mass consumerism that is advertised in this country. This type of economic exploitation is crazy and it's an epidemic that has to stop.

  • Nice post good points but thats all i see our people do is talk and not put any action behind it. Where are all the black businesses and i am not talking about ray ray barber shop ans laqweta hair salon. Im talking corp black owned. I see no unity. The only time we pull together is in time of death. F-that. The power of wealth is there for everyone and you use your wealth to build your destiny. When rent is due your paying it with the white dollar! so lets use what we have to make change!

  • THANK YAUL FOR THIS 1!......And i did post it 2 my Book of Face page...lol

  • p.S.

The nature of consuming/consumption is built-in obsolescence and proliferation. The more you consume...the more shit you make. Look around...the world on this "consumeristic" mode is full of shit.

  • Pardon while I get ghetto...

but I do not buy a DAYUMMM thing especially during these socalled hollydays. Black friday has its name from an accounting term. In the red due to dead slaves, and in the black due to an abundance of or lower number of dead slaves that came in off the ships.

  • Actually, Black Friday has it's history based on Jim Crow Laws, where Retail Stores allowed Black People to only shop on Fridays, after the American Civil War in the 19th Century up until the 1960's as a result of the Civil Rights Movement.

The True Origin of Black Friday will only be found in obscure archives of a local newspaper in the Southern States of the United States of America.

  • Love your videos

  • I think Black Friday is appropriately named - when businesses plan to get financially in the "black" not "red" by having "sales" and getting high spending

We should spend this time to educate ourselves on money market investment - we would get a better return than buying a pair of high end shoes

  • @biggbadmilt DON'T REMOVE MY FUCKING COMMENTS AND YOU DIE SLOW. YOUR HAIR DIED FAST
