@dr4g0n121 Metaverses, like IMVU, are entertainment just like MMO games (which IMVU is not), and entertainment companies or franchises needs money, too. Start is free, but if the staff didn't get income or user content creators in that matter, how long would IMVU or any metaverse in that matter be encouraged stay active and alive?
You're welcome to check the other 35 metaverses there is (listed in my channel), but they very likely use the same model. It's not a scam, it's f2p -business-.

You people should open your eyes. IMVU is using propaganda to get you to buy credits with real money, which is then used to buy virtual products. So all that have paid for virtual products, Access Pass, or VIP are wasting your money on useless garbage that has no value. VIP's that pick on "noobs" for having cheap products or whatever are only making things worse. People, think for yourselves!
