Our simulated client project was to create a 20 second animation warning against file sharing (the colossal irony was not lost on us).
My opinions on the matter notwithstanding, I didn't want to came across as being "don't do that!" - if I don't like being spoken to like that, then no-one else is, right? And everyone agreed that 20 seconds was a bit short considering what we were told to get across.
So during my presentation on the proposal, my tutor gave me the idea of turning it into a slightly bizarre aesop - to quote my sister: "let me get this straight. If you file share, you could get abducted by aliens?" (as far as I'm aware, nobody has really explored possible correlations between alien abductions and illegal file sharing. Would make a rather interesting Doctor Who episode, that).
Special thanks goes out to Squash from Bricks In Motion for doing the voice-over for me - even if I did have to bring his voice up an octave seeing as it was deeper than I was expecting.
This is why you download everything to a Sandbox for scanning before use. The general public are fail pirates.
