I think Andy went to church and then stopped by the jail after. I don't think Barney went to church cause he had to look after the prisoners. He probably just dressed up for Aunt Bea's sunday dinner (which is lunch here in the south lol).

At 13:50 Andy walks into courthouse and him and Barney are both dressed up and Andy tells Ronald Bailey that they're closing since it's Sunday and Otis is still asleep, but Andy tells Ronald Bailey that they are going to Andy's house and eat dinner???? HOw does that all add up? A: Otis is still asleep. B: Barney is reading the comics. C: Andy and Barney are dressed up for church. D: They are going home to eat dinner. E: They're closing now. F: It looks like morning How does that all make sense?
