yeah, I wish OD would have won in 90

OD WILSON WAS NEVER A GOOD STRONGMAN
-
@Maddolis You are absolutely right about Wilson. I didn't think about him because I've always just considered him the winner that year anyway. He really WAS the strongest in that competition, and the last event was just stupid. Running with a load of bricks?! Ridiculous.
-
... sorry *if the last event* wasn't such an endurance event.
-
@AUXRUNNER42 Perhaps, but you could easily say the same for OD Wilson, who probably would've won it in '90 if it wasn't such an endurance event.

in a documentary his sister said she talked to him 1 month before he died and he said he had really high cholesterol and looked it in his face she also said he didnt want to go to the doctors because he didnt want the gossip, or his secret to slip out. his blood pressure was also ski high as he was also building a new gym and was running out of money, and had split from his wife, his personality had changed drastically his wife said, wonder why? he also refused to be drug tested in iceland comp

He died doing what he loved, way to go out.

I love watching Badenhorst deadlift. He always made it look so easy. He is my all time favourite Strongman, and easily the strongest man to never win the WSM title.
