great song
-
I´d never heard this band, nice voices.-
-
Took me ages to track this down always thought it was Bananarama but knowing it was a mid 70s track luv it
-
Wasn't the girls in this actually The Ladybirds? (Benny Hill's resident singers)
-
Good singalong soft soul. So many good 1970s records like this never get airplay.
-
Infectious 70s pop soul. Just love it.
-
This is excellent stuff, and brings back many happy memories for me.. Thanks!

Some talented individual should do a mash-up of this song with Bananarama's 'Love In The First Degree'.
-
this a great song written by the great Ron Roker and produced by Phil the Collector Swern.

The single i have credits Johnny arthey as arranger but whichever of them it was they did a great job and i agree that Gerry shury is very underrated.

I have been waiting a long time for this to appear on YouTube. What a lovely record and a hit from 1974 on Bell. Do you know if this was arranged by the late Gerry Shurry. It sounds like one of his orchestrated productions so loved back then. I really liked this song. I also think it was a great influence on Pete Waterman who used the theme of this song and turned into 'Love in the first degree' by 'Bananarama' a few years later.
