Why are people comparing shanice, mariah, and debelah....the only thing they have in common is their whistle capabilities...three different genres, vocal style, and obviously different ranges....because Mariah naturally has a deeper register...so stop comparing...

Goodness gracious!!! Why have I never heard of her before today? I was checking out some stratospheric coloratura opera singers and that led to video selections on the right, of singers who can hit whistle notes. I randomly chose a video and Debelah appeared at the end of it and immediately I got chills when she hit that note. In fact, every time that I listen to that part and the one shortly after it, I get chills. I've never heard anyone do a crescendo-style run into a high note like that.

@Pheonix625 She gave up secular music to become a born again christian. the rumor was that she was just not willing to do some of things the industry wanted her to do so she chose the moral high ground over success. But she still sings Gospel and she does it so beautifully. She seems happy and I'm happy for her. People like Rihanna and Britney are around because they have no soul or real talent.
