Glycerin: A Running Haiku

My entry into the Brooks Running Haiku Contest.
UPDATE: My entry was awarded honorable mention!
I've got a Brooks "Run Happy" t-shirt headed my way! *fist pump*

I chase the sun
as the wind swirls the leaves green
Find peace in the pain

I've got over 300 miles on my Glycerin 8's
& I need some new kicks!

In the interest of full disclosure...
I'm fully aware the first line only has 4 syllables but I believe it has 5 moras.(or on) The key word being "believe."

Although haiku are often stated to have 17 syllables, this is inaccurate as syllables and moras are not the same. Yeah... most of us have been taught incorrectly our entire lives. AMERICA! EFF YEAH! Seriously though, I realize I may have still screwed up the whole moras/on thing. Those more knowledgeable in the subject are welcome to opine & set me straight.

Upon further consideration it's feasible that this thing has about 40 moras.
*sighs dramatically*
