Kind of a cliffhanger, this.
I was thinking, what if Jimmy Mack (from the song) became a private eye, like Sam Spade (from the books and the movies.) It's just a couple of disjointed scenes, you'll have to imagine the rest of the scenario.
Somebody dies, of course. It's a war of sorts, and in wars people die.
Remember that.
