It takes a few listens to finally like them, but you'll like them!

@username91ification Hands down the greatest and most underated band ever
-
Gentle Giant are hands down the most talented musicians I've ever listened to in my life.

Good! but YES and RUSH are great!

@martynhanson This single was written after the fact to "promote" the album. Too bad as it would have fit quite nicely among the P&G tracks.

This song was left off the original release because it was written as the single...which the band hated, since they were entirely resistant to the industry. It has been released on subsequent reissues. Personally, I love this song and it doesn't sound nearly as poppy as their later material. Though I don't agree with nixing this one, the integrity is refreshing.

WHY ON EARTH WAS THIS LEFT OFF THE ALBUM? DOES ANYBODY KNOW?

Great music and song. Although, they may not have been fully satisfied with it, it is still one of the best singles I've ever heard

this song is ungodly catchy...

But still it's a fine good single, beats most singles these days.

Trust me on this, we saw them in 1972 at MSG. There were 6 of them on stage. 3 of them brothers. 4 of them playing a drum solo in synch. As a group they outplayed Tull, Queen, Yes, etc. I have seen hundreds of progressive bands, since I've always played the style. Gentle Giant live was the greatest performance ever!
