I shot this video while we were returning from our day trip to Lake Volta, Ghana (and racing the sun to get to the Cedi Bead Factory - later video). It's on the Somanya Road, which leads from the Volta Region to Accra and the coast. We passed through several small villages and towns, each with literally hundreds of micro and small businesses lining the streets. These businesses make up a huge part of the 'informal sector', which employs nearly 80% of the Ghanaian population. The background music is by our driver, Armah, who sings, plays music and manages his church's gospel choir. We were in Accra to participate in the ABLE-Ghana programme.
