This week Barroso advocated a tax on all financial transactions some £70 Billion a year to help to bail out Greece, and others like Barroso's own country Portugal. Moving the pressure to the UK and away from the Germans. The majority of all financial transactions in the EU go through London, our share of the EU's financial market is 72%. If this ex-Maoist nutter got his way, the new taxes collected in London will send all the banks running to Wall Street, Zurich or Shanghai, gone for good.
