For more information about custom 3D animations, visit www.amerra.com. This animation shows how charcot foot is a sudden softening of the bones in the foot that can occur in people who have significant nerve damage (neuropathy). The bones are weakened enough to fracture, and with continued walking the foot eventually changes shape. As the disorder progresses, the arch collapses and the foot takes on a convex shape, giving it a rocker-bottom appearance, making it very difficult to walk.

I have this in my knee, I have to wear a legbrace. Yeah ok I admit it, that's exactly how one of my feet look like. And also, just because I have charcot joints, I can still wear whatever shoes I want and stuff.
