If you're looking to get the bubbles out of your Envirotex pour, lightly and extremely briefly tap them with the flame from a lighter. The heat brings them to the surface, and they disappear. Don't hold it there, or you'll scorch the Envirotex, or worse, set it on fire. It's actually a very safe and effective technique if done right.

can you give me an idea how you color the water? I also use envirotex lite for my water but I have great trouble getting the proper color for it. I mix some GW washes with it and it colors the envirotix lite very lightly but I'm sure there's a better way to do it. Thanks in advance, and if not, oh well.

@gazeebo88 No worries. I paint the bottom and then I tint the 'water' with ink to enhance the look. Inks have a much higher pigment content than the washes and should do better for you. Try experimenting with straight paint as well. Depending on the look I am working towards I may mix both in. The envirotex is very forgiving in this regard. Getting it to cure properly and bubble free is the real challenge. Good Luck!

@Grymbaldknight Well, I always felt that if I added movement to the ford rocks, I would have to add it other pieces as well. Its a good suggestion though and I am currently working on improving the overall water look, including some movement to the resin. Expect some improvements on the ford pieces as well in the near future.

@Terranscapes; if you add white, foaming water marks,stretching away behind the rocks at the ford, similar to the waterfall as the frothing water joins the main river at the base, and you need not spend much more time with the modelling, unless i am mistaken.

i'm no terrain maker (most of my 'attempts' involve paper-mache), so i don't know whether that will work.

@Keurosaur I totally understand what you are referring to. The reason I don't add 'rapids' is mainly it adds quite a bit more work. For me, if I add water movement to one piece, I would want to add it to all of them and it begins to add up for a large set. I would always be happy to add additional effects on request however, and would be happy to do a single piece as an example for customer before they committed to a larger project so they could judge the quality vs the cost increase.
